My First Show
i had never listened to the GD much. a new friend of mine (rest in peace Peter) had
intro'd the band to me in high school. my college roommate was a Head. so
off I went not knowing my life would change forever. from the 1st notes of Jack Straw,
I knew this was not just another show. oddly enough, this is the best damn Truckin'
they ever played. Jerry windmilling like Townsend.
it's been a wild ride that I have never regretted. the light still shines. thanks to all
i've encountered along the way.

RE: Extra Long Drum Break
I probably have this all wrong and backwards, but the '78 tour is the first time I remember seeing what was referred to at the time as the (original) Rhythm Devils -- the entire band would play percussion instruments. Wonderful.

Great sound/show
Unfortunately, Jerry's mic does not kick in until
"Peggy O," but the rest of the show makes up for it. Incredible sound and performance. I love this spring tour, despite its occasional lackluster shows.

Wish Betty had stayed on board.
I love the crisp clean sound of these boards that make shows come alive on your speakers! Especially a great show like this hidden gem. Energy and dynamics. Drummers on fire. And what's with the 25
min.drums? Wow!
